WCAG & ADA Compliance

ADA and WCAG compliance is becoming increasingly important. More and more businesses are being sued for not building compliant website. There are some ADA Compliance products on the market, but these add yet another layer of software on top of WordPress > Divi > Additional Plugins…. etc. This increases code, weight, vulnerability, and/or significant cost (some charge $500/year or more). A WCAG compliance plugin that is more integrated with Divi would go a long way to making it easier (and lighter weight) for developers to build websites that are accessible to people with disabilities. Also, there is no other website builder (Elementor, WPBakery, etc) that has this built in yet (as far as I know).

• contrast modifier

• disable animation

• link highlighting

• Accessibility toolbar

Developer tools:

• ADA/WCAG evaluation and advice tool

• Aria label fields

• Contrast evaluator

• Accessibility toolbar designer

As a web design & development agency owner, I would happily pay an annual fee for an unlimited license for a plugin like this. I have more and more clients asking for this feature, but a $400 to $500 annual price tag (per website) for software, or the price tag associated with hand coding compliance, is cost prohibitive to a small business.
