Sort Archive Loop by Post Category

I would like to be able to sort posts in an Archive Loop based on the post category. So if the posts belong to categories like “cars” and “trailers” and “ATVs”, I could configure the archive loop sort order to show all the “cars” posts first, then “trailers”, and so on, rather than showing posts from least relevant categories first in the list.
