I want to be able to create (for example) a Directory website for various business types, such as Restaurants, Classifieds, Business Listings, Cars, Hotels, and many others. But I need people to be able to "REGISTER” with the website so it can remember who they are, show them their listings in the directory, allow them to join (for free or for a payment or a recurring payment) so they can place their listings or advertisements in the directory. Similar to most other Directory plugins and systems for WordPress like “Directorist” or “GeoDirectory” or “Business Directory Plugin” and others. The directory will need to allow it to take payments from various sources such as Stripe, PayPal, Authorize.net, etc., etc., and also automatically bill for recurring payments. The system will also need to send out emails to the members (subscribers) to let them know that their payments were accepted, when new payments will be coming up next, if there’s a problem with their payments, etc. I am not sure how Divi Engine would create and implement this, but if you’re going to consider Divi Engine able to create a Classifieds Directory, it would be important to be able to have various payment plan options, allow people to pick a plan, whether it is to pay for each individual listing or to be able to purchase a plan that would allow them to post multiple listings for a specified amount per month or per week or per year. I hope this makes sense. I had recently seen this article on Divi Engine: Divi Machine Classifieds: Build a dynamic directory site from scratch (https://diviengine.com/product/divi-machine-classifieds/) and wanted to use this, but until or unless we can allow people to post listings for free or for a payment, and to manage all of this, the idea of creating a classifieds website wouldn’t really be realistic without these features. Please vote this up if you’d like to see it as well.
